Hey there, Expert! There is a lot of new things to talk about here at RIO for the start of 2023. But before we make any announcements, we thought we would take a look at (or review) the more than 130 engine parts and component codes that were released under the ORANGE QUALITY label in 2022. As you know, RIO always pays particular attention to the needs and demands of the world’s largest automakers, in addition to the market for replacement parts in the automotive and agricultural industries.
Like 2021, 2022 was a year marked by the reuptake of demand for parts in engine repair and overhaul shops and automotive centers across Brazil. According to data from the National Union for the Automotive Parts Industry (SINDIPEÇAS), the trade balance for sales and imports and exports of auto parts saw growth of 8.4% when compared to the same period during the previous year (2021).
With this in mind, we have gathered all of RIO’s 2022 product releases HERE for its light, medium and heavy-duty lines, as well as RIO’s agricultural line. LIGHT-DUTY LINE
Most of RIO’s 2022 releases were seen on our light-duty line. The main highlights at RIO in this category are parts such as Piston Rings, Piston & Ring Kits, Camshafts, Cylinder Liners, Engine Valves, and Valve Guides and Seats. These parts were all manufactured using state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that orange quality is provided throughout our entire portfolio.
2022 light-duty releases include several items for renowned engines from Volkswagen, Fiat, Chevrolet (GM), Honda, Ford, among others. You, as an Expert Repair or Engine Overhaul Mechanic, need to look no further than RIO’s light-duty line.
HEAVY-DUTY LINE
From among the releases on RIO’s heavy-duty line, we can highlight Piston Rings, Engine Valves, Valve Guides and Seats and Engine Tappets for MBB, Perkins, DAF Paccar, Volvo, and Iveco engines, among many others.
AGRICULTURAL LINE
Continuing to keep an eye on the growing demand for parts and maintenance in agricultural machinery, RIO released a new Valve Spring model for the Caterpillar 7.1 24V L6 OHV TURBO engine in 2022 . As you know, this type of equipment has to deal with some extreme conditions in the fields and therefore requires resistant high-quality parts in order to provide the best performance for this type of vehicle.
